Hi Shane & Jody, Welcome to New Trition! No I've not had this at all - not sure whom has given you that advice, but I had my lift done at ARB and never touched the tailshaft. If you use the search function in the forum, you'll find out just about everything you want to about modifying your new Trition.

We've got a new triton and want to put a 2 inch lift kit in but I've been told I'd have to replace the tailshaft as it gets quite a shudder. Have you had any problems like this?

It's a Safari snorkel... And thus far it hasn't rattled but it's only been on 2 weeks lol :)

G'day mate, look's great as per usuall. Can I ask what brand your snorkal is. Also I have been told by my mate who works at Mitsy's as a partsman that said the snorkals on the Tritons are known for rattling? Is that something that you have found at all? Not sure what brand he was talking about though? I'm looking at the Ironman one. I like all their gear and will probably get theirs. Ok cheers....
