Other info:

I've had this truck since brand new in 08, it's served me well and lived with me everywhere from Sydney to my stint in the Pilbara in the mines and now up here in Darwin... Not much can stop this triton... Even when I think it's finished another project starts. Love this big grey money pit.

Not really just used a step bit to make the bolt holes slightly bigger. And used two high tensile m8 bolts either side to fixit to the style side lip.... Once the rooftop tent is installed the mounting tracks brace the rear bar from front to back... As the front sports bar has the 45' braces.. I can send pictures and a elk through if you need.

Hi Mase, how does your sports bar set up go with supporting the weight of your tent? did the fixing points require any modification to make them stronger?

Hey mate, here's a quick answer to the question about the rear rack to install the roof top tent.... The 2010 onwards have a 3 piece sports bar in the rear tub. I just purchase one of gumtree for $100 and removed the 45' braces and mounted it to the rear of the tub simple but very effective... I did put some extra fixings in the front sports bar to help brace it and reduce any movement on corrugated roads.... Works perfect! The tent give you a much better sleep than any old swag

Hi Mase101, is the ladder rack for your tent custom made or was it an option for the 2008? I have a 2012 mn and I am interested in a similar set up.

To tell you the truth I did the body lift with abit of assistance from a walk through another member had posted on this forum...I bought the kit from superior engineering, the are polly block spacers... I needed to extend the brake lines which was easy after buying an extended brake line kit. You'll also need to stretch. The bake lines where they are pigtailed near your chassis. The xrox sliders and front bar were ordered with the optio of standard or to suit a 2"body lift. So no doubt you can guess the ones I chose...just make sure you have enough slack on all your wires cables and lines before you do anything... Then the only other thing to do after install was to either move the centre console 10mm towards the rear of the cab or in my case I just flipped it upside down and cut 10mm out of the gear stick surround, reason being you can't select 2nd gear without sorting out the console. This body lift with the 70mm monster rides lift is no doubt far from what your insurance would want you to do, but the truck looks awesome and has a heap of articulation front and rear I run 33s with no rubbing even at full lock and fully tucked up... And I'd say it could pretty easily accommodate 35s. Only prob would be the extra stain on all the running gear and a little less power.... Best bet for you would be to scan all the forums for 2" body lift and look for a silver 2door with custom tray... And work from his pictures and walk through. Any other questions just hit me up.

Hey mase , did you have to do many modifications to the tri in order to fit the body lift ? I understand the bar work would need a bit of fab work but is there anything else that may need attention ? Cheers

Sorry I can't remember the name of the store but it was online and from thailand. They cost about 350 for the set and are heavy duty fibreglass. Try a google search.
