Modifications

* Alpine roof mounted DVD player, (For the kids of course)

* Custom made mattres for tray area, (I'm 6 foot and still get a good nights rest in the apparent small sized tub)

* LightForce 240's (Nothing like burning eyeballs of roo's 1-2km's away)

* Rhino tub liner

* Factory rear diff lock (Best investment with warranty ever!!)

* Factory canopy (Barry my Border Collie said it was a must)

* Colour coded ARB combo bullbar

* Colour coded rear step towbar

Future Modifications

* Colour coded ARB combo bullbar (DONE!)

* Colour coded ARB rear step towbar (So the missus doesn't reverse into stuff and bend my tailgate, DONE!)

* DVD screen to replace the useless info display

* Suspension lift kit (Nothing stupid just something to give that extra 15 - 20mm I always need for some reason, looking at the OME range or the dobinson kit)

* TJM / Airtec snorkel (Even if Safari release their snork, I'm still going with the TJM product out of spite because they are taking their bloody time!!)

All when the fun tickets allow of course.

Other info:

I'll just share with you the reasons why I have chosen the Triton, I had certain things I required from a vehicle as listed below,

* Needed to be family friendly, and comfortable (Apart from front seats)

* Needed somewhere for my mutt

* Needed something to tow a Quinny 445 Hornet Trophy, and all associated gear with weekend camping trips

* Needed something I could use for my fortnightly trip to the tip without the hassle of a trailer

* And last but not least, we required something we could use to just get away from it all

Answer to all that was a dual cab ute, choices were D40 Navara, or the Triton, I was in love with the D40, but did some research and wasn't impressed with the pissy 2.5 TD doing the hard yards (It's amazing what happens when manufacturers wind a little boost into something) After I looked at the Navara, I took the missus across the road to check out a Triton (She wasn't impressed with the bland looking Navara anyway, she needed more gadgets) As soon as the salesman stuck the keys in the ignition and said check this out, when he flicked a switch and the rear window wound down, I had no choice, she said we have to have it, so my decision was made for me in the end. I do like the car like handling, and the sedan like seating in the back seat, at least I know my better half is comfortable when she's behind the wheel. Afterall, that'sall that matters.

The End.

DAMN! I never would have thought a quad bike would fit in the tub mate, also I'm waiting to hear from the mate about his ute, he is in the midst of getting a style side put on it and doesn't want to commit to the bumper until he has the tub on the ute
