Its one or the other

Its one or the other

And yes I searched but didnt find a comparo on here.

Flashlube catch canpro or Provent 200 for my 2017 Triton 2.4..I`m new to this stuff and now after reading/viewing vids etc know that I must have one fitted.
I ask as there are always some that will rant about one or the other unit.

I`m happy to pay the going rate but I might as well put the best one on.

Same thing with a turbo timer..yes I need or no I dont? Have never had a turbed donk before so once again i am in the dark.

The bloody internet is so full of "genuine" items for 50% of the prices I generally see.

Just my opinion with the turbo timer, if you want to spend the money and time fitting one, then great. Go for it, I'd prefer to have one personally. But I'm also happy with being gentle with the last 2 minutes of driving and even not turning the engine off for about twenty seconds after I park up. Drives my wife mad. So I've read at various sources, a standard running engine won't need cooling before shutdown but one using anything to make your engine run harder could benefit. Have also heard insurance won't cover you if you have one because you're not in control of your running engine as you lock up and walk off.

Cheers

Provents are an infinitely superior catch can to the competitors, and for some vehicles can be easily plumbed to return the oil to the crank...

We recently became a provent agent, as we wouldn't use anything else ourselves, and don't sell anything we wouldn't put on our own vehicles

6 years on provent. Change the filter as per schedule and am amazed how clean it is inside after all this time.
