Just thought i'd say G'day

Postby johno on Wed Sep 30, 2009 3:48 pm

Another newbee saying G’day.
I recently bought a 07 GLXR with a few mods in Rockhamton Queensland.
My first drive was back to home base in Tathra NSW.
2 days of enjoyable driving…….loved it!! :D
I bought it to replace my beloved Mitsubishi delica that I have enjoyed for the past few years.
The triton was bought mainly to do a trip to the west coast next year towing our Jayco Outback Hawk.
The triton has a bit more grunt that the deli, so it will handle the trip well I think.
We’ve already given it a trial run to Bathurst towing the van; I hardly knew it was there!
While we were in the area we tried out the 4 wheel drive capabilities…..lots of fun!! :)
Did the usual trip around the race track (I see that others have done the same by the photos!!)
Cheers Johno

Truck looks nice mate. Was admiring the pics on the front page.

First Triton, second- 16th HOLDEN. Nice photo Johno, reckon you can take the more direct route than the v8's to get to the top of the mountain.

After driving around that track i don't know how they do it, there's only just enough room for the triton (even the painter had to tuck his butt in on the way past!!)
