Tried to polish out all the pinstripes I installed yesterday.

Solid session with the meguairs ultimate compound and some wax and they're a lot less noticeable but not invisible.

Next time I'll have to get a white car.

Can't agree with you more there. Seems every time I go out there's a new war stripe to go wit the trip.

Finally completed a well overdue lube job - front to back on the Trity, after warming up on the daughters Alto and other half's SX4.

The SX's oil filter and transfer filler plug have got to be amongst the more challenging parts I've encountered!

Just the rear brakes to check and adjust on my 'truck'.

The Tom-thumb oil pump/bottle rig has been the best solution to refilling the riffs, boxes, etc.

Fuel filter today and took washer bottle out to find where it was leaking.

Seemed like the gromet between pump and tank was not sealing well. Cleaned up and applied some copolymer goop and reinstalled.

Installed some LED headlights a few days ago but haven't been out to test them yet

Also think we found the source of a vibration that's been driving me crazy on our trip around aust. seems the right hand engine mount is buggered so getting 2 new ones installed tomorrow and hoping that fixes it. also getting some dyno time

After some hitting some tracks last week my reverse camera stopped working. Found the source of the problem today! Looks like a stick has wedged itself hard between chassis rail and body, ripping the cable apart!

Pretty sure it's the Rca cable that runs from camera to revision mirror! PITA!

The rca cable that was on my car was able to be stripped back to a central wire which carries the video feed and a second section of wire operating as a shield. I connected those to a Mitsubishi connector and got video at the other end.

If yours is the same and there's a little slack somewhere in the cable run you should be able to cut, strip and join it to remove the damaged part of the wire.

Cleaned the areas and brazed it up,

If you're referring to how the holes came to be, the mounts on the fan fitted to the intercooler had worn through over the years, fan has been binned now.

No the brazing bit. Just wasn't sure how you'd do it, but I guess now I know.
