Yes mate there's a lil bit of spring steel that creates friction on the stalk. I've taken mine off to clean behind after we filled the car with sand at Robe.

I bloody hope the posted link fit. I took a chance when I ordered them though it seems a fare few and jumping on board.

I'll admit I have purchased, also admit I went the aluminium ones as thought would blend in with the silver surround. Worst case I lost $7.

After looking at the picture longer. The bit that has me stumped is there is only 3x direction positions and no option for heat?

No rear demister either. Probably not much need for either of those options in Thailand.

He's down to his last set... mind you a quick search and I found plenty more where they came from, although frequently a little more expensive. Still looking for the ferrari ones, unfortunately a search on ferrari knobs just picks up every ferrari owner that ever lived...

Replacement Knobs (heater/fan/air)

Postby biggibbo on Fri Jul 11, 2014 3:12 pm

Got mine today. Look goodClick to view larger picture

Easy to fit. No trimming required. Get a set of multi grips with a rag in top of the old knob and pull straight towards you.

Push the new knob on until it clicks. The centr knob has a different insert to the others but they are pretty self explanatory
