Had the roll bar powder coated black during the week. Did a trial fit of my RTT and rack.

Have left a gap to fit a 33" spare, with Maxtrax and Hi Lift on either side. I should be able to fit 1x 20lt fuel can there also.

I'll make up the mounts and brackets during the week then off to the powder coaters.
One day your life will flash before your eyes. Will it be a good show ???

Big fluff and buff for Matilda today. A few hours with the Festool got rid of the bush pinstripes, followed up with a few layers of Zaino wax. She now looks like a supermodel again 8-)

Tomorrow I'll be revisiting the fitting of the Razorback canopy that was never done right in so many ways (even by their recommended fitter)  They were paid $200 to stuff it up, so I'm going to pay myself $300 to do it right and then treat myself to something fancy. Might get one of those pie and coke specials down at 'The Boardroom' :D

Festool make power tools froggy (like Dan said), in this case a very cool polisher/sander.

I've seen your pin stripes Dan, and the only way those can be fixed is with a spray gun and compressor :(

Wouldn't suit Bella to be all shiny and new looking. You know she's not that sort of a woman Mattz.

Fitted my new Scotts Rods 3" exhaust today  Sounds pretty beasty now, and the turbo spool from a standing start is greatly improved 8-)

What a mission to remove the factory exhaust system. Jebus the bolts on the dump pipe were tight and hard to get to.

That looks good, how much noisier does it make it? I must be growing up as I like mine pretty quiet now. Can I also ask what the brass bolt is in the exhaust? :D

The exhaust note is definitely louder and deeper. But not offensively loud. Have not had it on the hway yet so not sure how she will be at causing speed. The brass bolt is for a future pyro sensor

Be $$ as to why it's not there. The factory exhaust is really really cheap when you compare it to the replacement one. Also the factory gaskets (except the dump pipe) had nearly discentergrated too

I installed the new exhaust. Nicer to drive as it more then makes up for the torque loss from the 32's and it gives it a nice note.

There is just no bloody room in there to get a decent spanner let alone enough torque on it to move the freakin bolt

Glad I could help. Next time (not that I ever plan of replacing an exhaust again) I'm going to follow homer and fridgie's suggestions and presoake the bloody nuts
