unfortunately 'old' 'man' 'emu' doesn't search well but if you look at the suspension threads you will find some reading.

Start at the directory thread then you will find answers.

not sure what they are worth but if same $'s as Ultimate just go with the flow dude. Ultimate have it pretty well sorted.

They use a smaller lift to avoid the shudder. Ultimate can do a lesser lift if you need but there are ways around the worst of the shudder.

i would reckon that in R&D between OME and Ultimate the latter would have more experience on these cars. Good luck.
This car is like a bad drug habit. It is taking all my money and time, my family are concerned, but new mods just feel sooooooo good.

I looked at OME suspension in the early days but the local ARB store was so brand biased and lacking interest that I canned the idea.

They were adamant that you could not lift the MN more than 10mm without major problems. This was a load of bs. Went with Ultimate and haven't looked back...
The voices in my head may not be real, but they do have some damned good ideas.

Go with ultimate- as we all have, some even went elsewhere then came to the ultimate 2 yrs later!!!!
I shopped around and even configured my own package....
Went to the ultimate and I feel like god in heaven- what ever that means!

OME- good marketing- poor product. they're only Monroe shocks with a sticker too (made in Adelaide)
and
The springs sag, so your 10mm lift in 50thou k's will be 40mm sag!!

Ultimate suspension + THESE ARE THE DROIDS YOU'RE LOOKING FOR.

Ok so if I go ultimate, looks like there based in nsw. I'm in Melbourne and just want someone to do the whole job and not fit it myself. Anyone down here that will supply and fit? Also what's the support like if I go travelling around oz?

For answers of those questions you're best to contact ultimate......I'm pretty sure they have an installer in Melbourne.

If you're happy with the height increase OME offered you may as well just put new shocks in.

Many triton owners have ultimate suspension (me included) and are very happy with it.

I had my local 4wd place fit my ultimate kit in warragul. Also I had medium springs on the front which sagged after I fitted a bullbar and winch. Rang ultimate and they swapped the medium springs to heavy duty at no cost to me except postage. So glad I went with them. Can't see one I the other companies doing that.
Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

so clearly if you take it to Ultimate they will measure all your corner weights etc.

if you cant they will want to know what gear you have on it (bullbar, winch, dual batt in front etc. etc) and they can probably match it to another car of the same specs as a pretty good guesstimate.

I think Brendan has decided to sell the springs and strut pre-assembled to avoid so many issues from installation error so it makes the installation much simpler.

Contact Ultimate and i am sure they can advise you of a number of Melbourne based outlets that can complete an installation for you.

There is a current thread about fitters in Perth that would be worth looking at for that question.
The Hitchhiker's guide to the the Triton universe and NTN.

A how to on finding your own way - search me.

The two threads I wish people would use more: thing 1 and thing 2.

Ultimate , the way to go, they really seem to know and understand Tritons. Just fitted ultimate and what a different car it is, firm on the road and comfy ride.
Thanks Ultimate and Brendan for your help in getting the best out of the Triton
