Greeting all...

Would I be correct in assuming that the below knobs would be the ones I am after?

Word of warning on the Mazda ones. I've kept mine but needed some mods. May have been the Melbourne weather or just bad luck but the steel outers separated from the plastic, have wrapped plumbers tape on them and fixed the problem. All three had done it within 6 months.

Otherwise a great cheap mod imo

A word on these knobs:

I just received mine today and they don't appear to be right ones. They don't have the stalk at the back to plug them as per the first page.

Great...

Oh well, in the end it was a small bit of cash and I'll just have to try and find the suitable ones next.

I bit the bullet and bought these ones (for future reference when the link dies the seller is topupauto):

http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav= ... 83&alt=web

These have the stalk attached and I guess importantly one stalk appears to be smaller. That knob itself looks smaller overall which is good because I noticed when trying to fit the other ones that they were too big for the middle knob and covered the dial partially.

I'll update if/when they arrive

Aaand they don't fit. The stalk's too short. I give up until someone confirms a seller

Mine fit to agree they are so much better then the standard knobs

2mm shaved off the middle one as its just a tad to long I also glued mine in for extra grip.

Interesting photo.

I wondered the same but couldn't pick it - unless it was a reference to being sideways?

Nice mod. Thanks guys. They do look much better than the originals

Far as taking off the original knobs, I used a piece of stocking leg. Soft, squeezes in behind the originals, and pull out no damage and easy
And before you ask, no they're not mine ;) I prefer fishnets

Bought them here, for anyone wanting the ones that fit. Bit more exy than originally posted, but I guess were all making then popular ;>

A little slow on delivery, but came 4-5 weeks and at least they fit OK
