My mate has a Dmax and got an email quote from TJM for a snorkel and install. When he rang up to book it they told him they have a special on at the moment which is 50% the install cost. For anyone interested.

Well I charge nothing and always happy to help :) snorkel is an easy one, just need to be confident in what you do... i live over west @ middle park.

I think i have the holesaw for it somewhere here

Hi I'm new to this site. How long does it take to fit an ebay snorkel? Do you need to move the overflow bottle.

How longs does it take?

Took me and a mate ALL day. He just got TJM to do his and it took a couple of hours.
So......depends on the quality of your tools and your abilities. But if you're not in a rush you'll get it done within a day, save yourself some dollars and enjoy the experience. I did.

Multiple threads on the overflow bottle. Mine came with a replacement but you can get by with the original via a couple of techniques.

Never got mine done as just before I was about to drop it off I got a call saying they weren't in stock. Not sure if they will fit supplied snorkels unless it's a safari.

Just rung Hacketts. Was quoted $450 supplied and fitted for a Dobinson snorkel. Was told the difference between a ebay snorkel and a Dobinson snorkel was about 4 tubes of silicon?

Hey mate,

Just wondering how you went with 4x4 Customs fitting your snorkel? I'm thinking about getting them to do my eBay cheapie for me.

Cheers
