Does someone hate you and has drained your oil?

ah if you had to put 8 lts in then the oil light would have been on and most likely cooked your motor

no way you would use 8 lts in 4 months (how many k's) without either billowing smoke out the back or leaving a giant puddle everywhere you parked.

The sump would have to be empty to fit that much

Are the oil drain passages blocked going from the head back to sump? Considering the gunk you mention.

I'd do a flush, fresh oil and filter and monitor from there.

As g spy suggests you'd probably have a smoke screen behind you with that oil consumption.

My ml with over 200k uses under a litre of oil in 15k.

Ultimately, be careful not to over fill.
Don't let the b'strds get you down!!

WOW 8lts

Manual only specifies 6lt when you do a change, to fill the pan and the filter, i wonder where the extra 2 lts is going ?? :?
