This needs to be back on the front screen, I fitted a set of 25mm Seat spacers that DiD3.2 Supplied. Now feels like I am sitting in a seat rather than on it and the steering wheel no longer fees like a grab rail. Spent the weekend fitting these along with rear spot lights, rear reverse camera and GPS Rear view mirror.

Got my thread extenders today. It's a nice feeling to be pushed back into the seat rather than fall out of it. Thanks did3.2. 8-)

G'day all,

I have had the DiD spacers for at least a month and they make a heap of difference. They push you bavck in the seat and you are not sliding forward anymore. I got a set for the navigator and she is very happy as well. This weekend drove for 3 1/2 hours non stop and it is so much better than standard. Do ya self a favour and get a set.

They still don't fix all problems and this may be peculiar to my Triton but I feel like I am leaning towards the centre console, does any one else have this problem. An easy fix is probably a couple of washers under the seat.

But it is still money well spent and with a couple of washers under the left hand spacers and lambswool seat covers it will be close too perfect.

Actually yes, I was thinking about the way I was sitting as I drove along yesterday, and I seemed to be more toward the centre console ... further thought and analysis (and some wriggling about) I seemed to be more into the left hand side side support of the seat back for 'comfort' in being straight onto the steering wheel. When I tried to sit in the middle of the seat I found I felt 'off centre' for the steering wheel and pedals.

Now, this seems to be basically the same as my old EL (1997) Falcon, which I had for 13 years, so I am wondering if it is just me from habit, or is it the same issue ... that is dash layout designed around a having to offer 'front bench seat style' seating so that when the bucket seats were used it was slightly 'off centre'?

We do not have the seat spaces installed, as yet.

I notice these posts are primarily from 2009.
Does this seat issue apply to the MN, and the GLX-R or the other models as well?
