Best Mitsubishi service centres

Postby chris_s on Sun Feb 28, 2010 6:57 am

After reading a few knockers of Mitsubishi parts & services, I'm wondering where you guys get yours done and why. I've just bought a new GLR and am very happy with its handling, etc. Frankston Mitsubishi seem very helpful and at the moment I have no reason not to go back to them (especially with a free courtesy car and capped service costs - not offered in December when I ordered the car, but this came with its delivery two weeks ago).

Commonwealth Motors, Phillip ACT - so far they have been great and go the extra mile.

Have heard nothing but good reports about Hillcrest Motorama in Brisbane.

Service Manager is a no fuss helpful bloke with extensive product knowledge and does the Hotfixes without the need for the usual tooth extractions.

I will second Hillcrest, had my last service there and also did the Manifold replacement.

They are easy to deal with and willing to help.

Chadstone - for all my issues, they have been a pleasure to deal with (wish MMAL was the same) and appear to be amongst the cheapest for servicing...

Deffinitely NOT motorama at springwood, thye put a new spring in my truck and refused to do a wheel alignement even though the steering was perfect on my way there and at 3 oclock after they finished. Contacted MMA and they basically said get stuffed, not our problem suggest you take it up with the dealer, take it up the date more likely. not happy jan
after Monday and Tuesday, even the calender says WTF

Anyone have any feedback on servicing from Motorama at Moorooka, in Brisbane?

Yeah I use them - sort of pledged allegiance to them if they fixed my warranty problem I had at the time and standing by my word - until the service manager (if he's still there) fxcks up again.

The service manager is/was a fwit, but the foreman was a good guy and is there to help - rebuilt my engine and it's going strong - which kind of surprised me.

Haven't had any issues since, but if I didn't feel a bit of moral obligation I would drive the extra 10 ks and use Motorama Hillcrest - have heard nothing but good stories from them.

They have the QLD state service manager (Russell I believe) and perform all necessary hotfixes without being forced to do it (he also probably finds/has all the hotfixes/warranty issues first being the state manager).

Good luck ;)

Albion Park Mitsubishi (Illawarra, NSW) seem pretty good.

We have had my wife's TJ AWD and 380 serviced there and it has been all good.
They have even picked up the car from our place and dropped it back in the afternoon, we are a good 20k's from their workshop. Nothing seems to be a problem with them.

I'm going to take the Triton there too and see how they go. Pick it up this Friday, yay!

Have had a good run with Blue Ribbon Motors in Ipswich, especially with warranty claims. Service manager very helpful even when Mitsubishi knocked back initial claim.

Kloster's at Newcastle seem very genuine. Had two services with them now, though they didn't wash the car after the 15k service!
Will go back for the 30k service.
be excellent to everyone...

Just a quickie for those in Brisbane who had previous good or bad experiences with a couple of places or service managers:

Russell from Hillcrest is now at Moorooka, and the old service manager from Springwood is at Hillcrest.
