I had an Eclipse unit installed as part of my sound system experiment. To be honest, I have no idea how anyone reverses an MN into any tight areas without one. I will post some pics of the driveway to my work carpark at some stage . . . lets just say the camera allows me to be part of the Westpac precision driving team . . lol.
Mine interfaces with the Alpine DVD/NAV etc screen that I had fitted in the spot in place of the factory trip computer. It is triggered by the reverse lights, so comes on instamatically once I hit reverse. Provides an awesomely clear view and given the position of the screen it works in conjunction with the 3 standard rear view mirrors.
Camera was $350 to supply and install added $50 to the total install cost.
