if the ironman and safari are so alike and the ironman template is wrong... maybe we should start a safari template share??

The Ironman and Safari templates are the same from memory. I've seen them both and installed both.

No guarantee it would fit either.

I think the best option is to just excercise caution and test the template on the snorkel body before installation for BOTH makes of snorkel as errors have been reported from both models.

That's a bargain for a Safari in a different box mate.

Grinz...hopefully my neighbor gets back to me with the goods asap then, Joe ;)
My sheds starting to look a little depressing with Triton bits to fit. Will have snorkel, LR tank, side strips (once they ever get painted), reversing camera (which is bloody going on this weekend, as I'm sick of reversing into things), replacement turbo return hose, shiny door handle protectors...damn, and some other crap I forgot ;).
Think there's more bits off the car than on!
;)
Hmm, you getting a LR tank? Offers still on to have a "use the hoist and have a BBQ" party

Might sound a stupid question, but could the mould also be off? Who's ever tested the fact it's only the template, and not the mould itself? ;)

true... but i'm guessing its harder to stuff the mould then it is for a printer to scew the paper? who knows, maybe there an ever so slight difference in the panel or flare too?

Well - The Ironman snorkel turned up this arvo...

I'm having a few beers & then will go have a crack at fitting it ;)

Q

Edit: Noticed the kit came with a stainless overflow bottle ...

Damn - just cracked a nice bottle of red to have with dinner. Hope I have a steady hand with the centre punch !

Had a quick look with the template. Looks like it will fit in easy - just have to be a bit careful around some wiring looms etc...
