Emptied out the tub and removed the under rail tub liner. Then cleaned out all the dust that had accumulated underneath. After that I stared at it for a long time trying to work out the best way to tackle my next couple of projects. Couldn't quite bring myself to get out the drill and the nutserts but it is only a question of time now.

Installed a LED bar light into the roof of the hard cover, fished the wires through the ribbing of the undercover so all nice & hidden & put in a fridge socket whilst I was in there. Now there is plenty of light for those night fishing expeditions !!! Always got annoyed at night with not beinga ble to see in the back tub, now I need to put my sunnies on to p[rotect my eyes. 18watts of flat daylight drawing .7amps an hour.

scraped out carbon buildup from intake manifolds. 2-3mm of crud everywhere from previous owner. Noticed an immediate change in throttle control afterwards + less smoke + faster turbo spool.

Installed my Rooftop tent today, Can't wait to try it out on the weekend. Might need to visit the local fab/ scaffold shop to put in some extra supports for the canopy, just incase. ;)

Wish I had know you were going down that path ;) :(

I'm looking for the black handles and mirrors, we could have swapped :P

It's the last of the 'shiny' bits other than the badges and I want them changed to black to match :ugeek:

Don't tell me there's two the same, I already tried to get in someone else's vehicle one night when they parked a similar holden near mine. Embarresing stuff that when they catch you thinking your trying to steal their Ute.

Fridgie; Ha ha, I have already ordered the chrome door handle scratch pads that go in the dent behind the handles. Chrome mirrors were next on the agender. :D
PS I have paid for my snorkel so as soon as it arrives t will be next on the agenda to get it fitted. :D

Wired up spotties after work. Lightforce seem a little forward of the factory nudge bar.

Might make up a plate each side to space them back a bit... Another day

Today I built and installed a high lift jack and shovel mount for the back of my Triton. Pretty straight forward, some aluminium square tube, a few bolts and a pair of quick fist clamps. then attached it to my "random stuff" carrier on the tray cover. A few pics:

Turned and to be very sturdy and rigid under the weight of the jack, works perfect and looks great. :D

Where did your get the 'quick fist' clamps ?

Opposite Lock sell the whole range of Quick Fist clamps, those particular ones hold 25mm - 65mm diameter objects and were $17.50 for the pair, bargain! 8-)

Or if that fails, Fire and Emergency shops sell them as well for similar prices, they use them to hold axes, picks, etc...
