Decided I didn't like the bag the compressor came in, so bought a tool box from Bunnings and mounted it in that.
I'll need to make up an insulated pad to go above the cylinder head as there's only about 1cm clearance once the lid is closed so heat might be an issue after use.

Yeah he has sliders and yeah he jacks up the whole side at once. I have the same and I'll happily admit he is braver than me. I see mine start to flex a bit and back off.

Oh yeah true. They looked like steps not sliders to me on the phone, on the laptop it's a lot clearer. Yeah I would with sliders, I'd say my factory steps would kind of be destroyed though. Sliders are on my list of needs.

Its not so bad. It has done 100,000 in just over 18 months, and has had a hard life. I think of my previous vehicles and this one is probably holding up better than most.

Some are lemons, you get that with all makes and models, friday arvo specials.

I know of plenty of ML's that have had lots of issues, and plenty of MN's as well.

No point getting into a mine is better than yours etc. Your ML is perfect, so your in luck. My MN has had some issues, but I wouldn't go bagging them all because a few had issues. I have had plenty of issues with other makes, but atleast mistubishi always do what they can to fix it, not like nissan and holden.

Two man operation. I removed the muddies, he fitted the road tyres. So there! :P

Not today......but last night.
Fitted my new Uni Filter, checked and tightened my suspension U bolts and greased the rear suspension shackles and helped install an ultimate suspension kit to a Deanohs Triton in preparation for the HC trip.

Trimmed and put back the airguide that sits under the radiator/intercooler that I had to take out to fit the BushSkinz guard. Ten hour drive tomorrow, want to be sure that cooling air goes where it's supposed to!

Me too!!!! I am pretty stoked about the whole event. I decided to leave as I did not want to watch the front end be taken apart and cut. I would much rather just see the end product. Also after hanging around for 10 mins I nearly had a rear locker thrown in at the same time but I am pretty sure the missus would have been less then impressed.

I bought myself a nice alloy touring rack. Great for holding an extra spare or chopped fire wood.

It comes to the same height as the RTT so I'm quite happy.

I picked up my MN after having a Safari snorkel, Ironman Commercial BB and an ARB Canopy fitted. The snorkel makes such a difference to driveability. Next is a muffler delete to see if I can get power from 1500 rpm.

Pictures in my profile in the enxt few days.
