I cross railway lines every day. There are some people on occasion that a pre coffee Homer may feel deserve to be woken up and move the f...k over in the preceding drive up to said railway crossing.

Orl's photo has me again contemplating these http://www.aironboard.com.au/online/air-horns/rocker-switch-227-12-volt-bunny-burners-on-off-spot-driving-car-light-ute-274.html to tap when they are about to cross the lines

Not sure if my ARB compressor is enough to give it enough wind though :?
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

Ohh... I'll have one of those air horn thing-a-ma-doodies please.
I swear I'll only use it in proper circumstances.

Probably sitting a bit high in the front based on the photo of the bump stops. I'm sure it will settle.

They definitely look the business though.

Did the fronts install with out any modification to the UCA's ???

they come from factories set at a 2 inch lift sitting at about 580 guard to center of hub which seem to be right.
no mods had to be done simple swap over.

Installed new OME suspension and ditched the EFS, hit the brakes and front end of the car would dip down and come back up when you stopped.

Now its sits pretty dang high, and drives awesome :D

Also managed to strip the gearbox filler plug :(

Picked up the L200 at the car-doctor (a.k.a. dealer) with a brand new AT oil cooler.
2,5 weeks without car... :? It almost makes you considering buying a second one.

Put it on the back of a flat bed and had the van towed behind flat bed.......
Set off for a weekend at Byron. Got over the gateway bridge and was nearing the apex of the hill just past the Belmont rifle range when there was an almighty pop under the bonnet then a high pitch squeal if you tried to accelerate. Rang mitsubishi breakdown (car is only 1200k old) next to useless as dealer hadn't registered my car with them (I have had it for 3wks). Lucky I still had my racq membership. Get told that breakdown can't service you on side of highway but they would send a flat bed to take us to a service station and they would have service technician waiting. We were a priority clearance and they would be there ASAP. Catch was with wife and two kids we needed a dual cab flat bed. 45 mins later truck arrives. Load up and head for servo so I thought I would ask if service technician was organised. He checked with base. No we would be put on job list. Another 45mins later and breakdown mechanic arrives. Luckily I used my second 45 mins to ring the service manager were vehicle was bought and he talked through a trouble shooting exercise so I was able to direct the racq guy to the problem straight away. He reattached pipe to inter cooler and off went. 2 hrs lost but still made it to Byron for weekend.

Funny thing the same thing happened to my old mk when it was new, only the hose was a lot easier to find back then.

Anyone else had this issue?
