I remember seeing a post on a fb 4wd page that BGB Tk had been graded like a two lane road.

Is that not the case???

I think you'll find that's Blue Rag Motoz. But from all reports it's starting to return to its former glory......slowly.
Billy Goats is very lose as the moment with some big holes to negotiate. Unless it changed over the last couple of months since I was last there.

Def not the case mate ,worst I have ever seen it,a group in front of us struggled big time, snatching, and winching,2 of them had very ordinary tyres and where just painting the rock black,a big top heavy Defender kissed a tree,we thought he was gone.yes Blue rag can be driven in the family sedan at the moment and basalt knob track back down to Talbotville is graded until the last few Kms which is a nice little challenge

Installed some daytime running lights.
Bit of an experiment. $15 ebay stick-ons. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/310932034442 ... 1439.l2649

Powered from a circuit that's switched on by a relay on the accessory line, powered off by a relay hooked up to the parking lights on the bullbar. (DRL's are supposed to turn off when lights are turned on for those that don't know)

My only tip with using these is that as they come with thick white backing tape, colour in the edges of the tape with a black marker before sticking them on. I found the white looked really bad and colouring them after sticking them on was a pita.

Just thought I'd mention it, if you much off-roading they may get damaged on that part of the bar. I know the bottom of my ARB bar has quite a few hits in that area from rock steps...

Might be worth a look before you damage one.

Good idea with the DRLs though, have been on my to do list for a while

Probably the more sensible option. I've never owned a full MT always been an AT man.

Got to try these things...

If they're anything like my MTRs I'd suggest taking it a bit easier than normal hammering into and out of curves on tar - it's easy to forget when you've had a good set of ATs on beforehand.

Removed centre console top section, sent to local trimmer who made it thicker and longer. Covered in nice black leather.
Now it is an arm rest i can actually use ... $100 well spent. :D

I have been in a vehicle with those on. You will have absolutely no issue remembering that you don't have AT's on. You may need something for the blood from the ears though :)
