Well yesterday and today was busy,

Fully cleaned the intercooler removed and cleaned.
Created a 12v charging station for all my camera/drone equipment.

Added a reversing Led as the standard are average
Finalized all the roof rack wiring in the tub just need a switch panel to run all the gear.

Next weekend its brakes and then the big move to esperance

Sent the triton in for its 135k service, added a K&N filter and had the ecu remapped. very happy with the result. Soon I will be changing the standard stereo with a double din unit possibly a Pioneer and adding a reversing camera. As long as the minister for war and finance doesn't find out.

Nearly finished, just need the correct size tyre pressure monitor for the middle switch

Added a pocket right down low that takes a full sized phone and won’t fall out and can be charged

I have a ram mount and hdmi connection which allows phone mirroring which is great for off-road mappingClick to view larger picture

Today I pulled over on the side of the road after hearing an extremely loud explosion... turns out one of my intercooler pipes burst (the one between the intercooler and the intake)... so I got out 2 rolls of gaffa tape and taped it up, got me home with minimal fuss.

Tomorrow I try to find a replacement intercooler pipe kit. Any recommendations, prefer something that will arrive ASAP but won't break the bank.

Yes, on the roads to Emerald and Charters Towers, no traffic or animals just a few B doubles and triples to pass on the mining infrastructure roads in excellent condition, a lot of them posted 110km/hr as well, the bus ran like a charm all the way, the temp never went above 84 degrees max on the steep run up to Toowoomba. Checked the oil during and after the trip and it used no more than about 250ml, it was just above the max limit before leaving and was on the dot back home..and still quite clean with my egr mod and catchcan doing their job.
