Hey mate I wrote a big long reply to your tapatalk message but it's been tapafail today.

Basically remove the 4 black clips

Then pull bottom of the grille straight forward without breaking 6 of these

I have only 2 of the 6 left but that holds it enough. Although I did just remove it one handed while holding the phone

Started putting some stickers on my car. This one is my favorite, awaiting the NTN one and a couple of others off ebay.

Thanks mate! Yeah tapatalk has been a bit fail. So worried to pull it though. I was sure there was a more graceful way to remove it. Pulling on it just doesn't feel right. But trying to lift the clips is an even harder task with my hamfists. The non glxr grills look so much easier

Looks like a few relays and a couple wires hanging around.

Light looks good!

Have to clean it up properly before I post a picture. It's embarrassing at the moment!

Ripped them all out and started from scratch.

The manufactures cabling ain't that flash these days!

One step off 'fuse' wire for headlight cabling, bare minimum from alternator to battery, no slack anywhere and the wrapping on cable bundles provides no protection.

Be great if you had the time and money to strip the whole engine bay and start again.

Nice job dellian.

put 2008 3.2 triton on dyno, after installing chipit. Mines an auto so took a bit of playing around to get right gear. Didnt play with chip so i assume its on setting "5".

But, measured 320 foot pounds at the wheels (EGT got to 650). Google converted that to 430nm. Does this sound right?

Not today but over the last month had an eBay snorkel fitted up, a Unifilter fitted and 5 Toyo Open Country 265/75/16 ATs mounted on the factory mags. Tyres that finally fill the guards make so much difference to the look of the car.

Gave it a good wash over the weekend, a substantial amount of mud came out from under the wheel arches! Got some maxtrax and a silky saw as part of the safety gear, starting to gear up for our Tassie trip starting Friday! Strahan, and Upper Woodstock in cabins, 3 days on Bruny Island for camping in Cloudy Corner and doing some 4x4-ing. We'll do Climies and the tough west coast tracks next time, once we've a winch and a good bit more experience!

As suggested, the shimmy from the 2" lift has settled in quite a bit, and disappears as soon as much gets put in the back! Even with just the 4 of us in the cab it's nearly gone.

Installed a new GME UHF.. although I'm not entirely sure I got the coax antenna cable crimped properly.. will need to test out.

Also installed 4 new USB ports and cursed the previous owner for many things that they did half-arsed...

I have just had my turbo repaired after warranty ran out. I put back Tonys SPV module and my Blackit Chip and gave the MAF sensor a good clean.

Took the beast on a 500km run and fuel consumption is vastly improved. This is my previous entry:

I will update my fuel consumption post for the MN after a few more tank fills. :|

Almost got the ultragauge the colour I want it. A shame the film swatch I got had a small hole in it but I'm getting closer.

That's a pretty good attempt CD, l was thinking the same for mine but was going to try swapping out the LED's. Having said that haven't even looked inside yet to see if this is feasible. The film looks much more simple solution. Want to do the same for the windbooster also.

Went to the Cleveland 4x4 camping and adventure show
Was surprised at how good it was
Picked up a couple of things for the triton as well
Very nearly got tempted into some new tyres with the show special!

I would say so although that sample is quite clayey. I also have some blacker samples on the sliders (boot scrapings still there after a 400km drive in the rain) and multiple accumulations at various points under the car.

I might leave them there and you can help yourself next time I'm up
