Pulled the front diff out for the ratio swap / lokka install and cleaned all the oil that had spilled over the steering rack from dodgy oil filter changes...

To be honest I think the ratio swap is going to be the biggest improvement, but we'll see. Either way locked from end never hurt anyone :D

Picked it up later this afternoon after having the 3rd gear synchro repair. They had the car for 3 days, box out for the repair. Also last week had an XROX bar fitted along with some AVA nude rock sliders.

Removed upper and lower intake manifold during the week and did the carbon clean on my ml. Runs like a new vehicle now very happy with the result. The how to PDF on here is great, made it pretty straight forward. Also fitted a boost and EGT gauge on Thursday.

Thought I'd be smart and buy a light bar direct from the US cheaper than they retail here. Forgot all about GST and Customs Duty taxes they slap on you when it arrives. Still cheaper but not worth the effort. :(

if I listen to the claimed figures of out put I should improve KW's by 18 and NM's by 85 just by the exhaust.. Should see the offer they gave me if I buy a chip to go with it :o . Going to think about it tonight as I have to go back and get the exhaust tomorrow. Got it at the Coffs 4WD show , not shop. They wanted to leave it on display for today and tomorrow. If I get the chip it will also come with a free version of their sprint booster. :D

Exactly. It's a pretty serious lightbar. Retail $1420 in Aust. $995 (US). Lifetime warranty. It will follow me onto future utes.
