Removed my stock side steps what a difference looks higher and so much better just need to save money to get some nice tube looking ones that will protect unlike the paper thin originals.

Had a full Sax Technology 3SDS suspension system fitted last week. 35mm lift standard settings with two more adjustments at rear if required.

Unpacked her after a solid week on Fraser. We went from bottom to top and then back again. We did every Scenic drive we could ( a fair bit of it in low range :D :D ). We got to see the cape this time which was awesome but I guess all the fish knew I was coming and decided to take a holiday themselves.
All in all a pretty wicked trip.

Man I am jealous, I only get to go once a year (occassionally twice) albeit have done since time began, but always am envious of someone that is there now or just come back, now you can start planning for the next trip, fishing will be light at the moment was the beach lacking structure ? Or just nothing around ? Where are the rest of the photos, lookinga at photos is as close as I get to being there.

Finally found the mystery oil leek - I hope!

Since the 90k Valve Adjustment job I've been getting oil residue appearing around the inlet manifold area.

After the valve adjustment there was a leak at the rear of the cover which was sorted. I suspected a possible leak at the passenger side.

After checking the oil level today there a was enough oil to encourage a fresh degrease and then I noticed
a metal gasket sticking out from the Top to Bottom Manifold joint.

Long job to take everything apart to check surfaces etc.

Effectively the join wasn't sealed properly and half the gasket obstructed the airway.

Obviously the apprentii was a little too rushed when redoing the rocker cover and didn't notice the gasket had slipped down on reinstallation.

Now seems to run better. Good end to the day.
Don't let the b'strds get you down!!

Tracks were good, ran around in 2wd most of the time. The entry to Eurong was flat, have never seen it so easy to get into.
