Parked the beast next to the newly delivered undercarriage from Ultimate. :)

Now must got to make time to sit the vehicle on the new kit.

Hearing all good things about Ultimate, can't wait to get mine done when the $$ permit this or have small win on lotto.
Speaking of lotto....might have to modify your comment in the Shed Profile

Yeah...taken me four years to be in the situation where I could finally committ - other bills will have to wait.

Also got some new bearing/hub units as I'm getting the sensation the front bearings are nearing the end of life.

I fitted an android double din head deck. Am pretty impressed for $265. Has reverse/crash cam inputs. Usb inputs which I have movies on. Wireless/bluetooth/3g. The screen is 1040×680 resolution or something like that instead of 800×480 like most of the cheap ones. When the car is sitting in garage I can connect it to home wireless and download apps and on the road use phone as hotspot. Came from Sydney so only took a week to brizzy.

I got it off ebay from (car parts mall). There's a fair few on there but what I was looking for is the resolution and was in Australia not hong Kong so wouldn't take a month to get it. When I got it I looked for the iso adaptor in super cheap so I could just plug it in but didn't have a triton one so I just cut and joined wires.

Muscles & joints gradually returning to normal after 'lifting' the beast onto the new ultimate gear.

The weight difference between what came off and what went on tells it all.

Yeah that's the one I bought. Was pretty easy to fit. if I had the right connectors it would just plug and screw in. And be even easier. Only took about an hour and half. I'm still playing around with what it can do.

I wasn't on the tools myself, but I got my mechanics to fit diff breathers and Bushskinz intercooler and sump guards. At some point I might stop doing mods to this vehicle.....
GLS MQ Triton, ARB Summit front, rear and side bars, Carryboy canopy and rack, Dobinson heavy duty suspension, Harrop rear E-locker, Drifta drawers and a few other bits and pieces.

The only other thing crash486 is I needed to cut the bottom off the original plastic surround so it's a "U" shape and plastic weld with soldering iron 5mm from bottom cut off piece to the middle of the top so it ends up 5mm wider. Looks like a standard fit then.

I wonder if anyone knows what plug would be needed to make your own joiner?
