Hey guys and gals. Just wondering if people can tell me what issues of the mag have articles about ml tritons and what DVDs have specials on them as well.

Cheers

Check out Issue 211 page 90. No hard core in this one but my rig doing a bit GIC trailer towing up the 1km creek drive & down boambee beach. More was planned but the 4wda pootrol blew a turbo up the creek so we had to change the plans. Bonus for Dan Everitt of 4WDA i lent him my triton to go get Brenno's dad's 80 from port macquarie for the rest of there planned work for up here 8-) needless to say he quite liked the triton. I'll get him back up here for some wheeling on the hard tracks and let him loose behind the wheel.

trickydevil I think I said this to you on fb but I get so excited every time I see a triton in the mag

I think we will start to see a lot more of them, especially mls, as they become cheaper second hand buys (as noted in the mag a couple of months back I think)

Thanks Dave. I have a shot in the latest mag as well towing the GIC. There will be an appearence in camper trailer touring mag soon with my ute and camper as well as an Isuzu & GIC. There were some cracker shots taken. I learnt a bit more about photography too.

3.5 for the V6
3.2 for the ML
2.5 for the MN

Positive's - Ergonomic Interior
- Durable Transmission
- WIDE AFTERMARKET SUPPORT :?: :?: :?:

Negative's - Suffer Turbo Lag Down Low
- Chassis Weak at Rear
- Prone to Carbon Build Up

possible negatives in the eyes of 4wd action
- not a nissan
- not a toyota
- not 20 years old
- apparently break in half at any given time

Positives in the eyes of most on this forum
-not a nissan
-not a toyota
-not 20 years old
-wont break in half if u use as per the book

remarkable correlation there

I haven't read the article, but based on the pro and con list previously posted; I can't really see an issue with it...

Good news is everything only that list can be fixed for 200 bucks and some common sense :)

G'day Fellas,

It's probably about time I put up a post on this wicked forum! Been reading all the top notch info you've all put up on here since I bought my MN GLX-R Triton last year and am still learning new things everyday about our great 4WD!

My name's Justin and I've been working for 4WD Action for the past 2 years as the digital manager doing the digital mag, Facebook , web videos, website content, managing our forum and writing a few articles here and there as well. I can definitely say I'm on your side and push the Tritons and rep it for us over here in the Action carpark amongst all the other Nissans and Toyotas! As Kegsy said the good news is everything in that list can be fixed for 200 bucks and some common sense, unlike the Cruisers and Pootrols.

I'd love to get more of you blokes in the mag even if it's just in a readers section of the mag!

Bit of info on my truck if anyone's interested (Not quite as tough as alot of you blokes but does what I want it do... Get's me to top notch spearfishing locations!):
2010 MN GLX-R 2.5
2" Old Man Emu Lift Kit
Redarc Dual Battery Setup
Chinese Windows CE/Android Head Unit
Reverse Camera
Digital TV Tuner
ARB Bull Bar
31" KM2s
Plastidipped Matte Black Factory Rims (Looks like the day I sprayed it 6 months later)
Matte Black Rattle Canned Sports Bar

Anyway thought I'd say g'day in the thread relating to 4WD Action. Please don't think I've come on here to feel all high and mighty because I work for Action, because I haven't and don't. I know very little in comparison to a heap of you blokes and wouldn't have my Triton where it is without you all!

Will try and post more frequently when I can and see if we can get some of you guys in the mag. Feel free to shoot through an email with a few shots of your Triton to myself at justin@4wdaction.com.au and we'll see what we can do :)

Also, I'm trying on one of the other blokes 33" Muddies at lunch and will post up pictures to let you know how it goes and if it scrubs etc...

Cheers!

Justin if you leave plastidip on your wheels too long it bonds to the paint and damages the wheels original finish.
