Does anyone know where I can locate the reverse wire so I can use it to trip a set of auxillary reverse lights. Cheers

Tap into the reverse circuit at the back of the reverse light.

locating reverse wire

I would reccomend tapping into the loom about where it passes the top of the rear left shock.

Here there is a decent amount of room to pull apart the conduit and expose the reverse wire (red wire with a green stripe) also after the wiring harness plug it splits into two.

here is a pic of where im talking about, and this is also where i put a fuse for the direct power to the reverse light relay
I'm not dead

I've got one of these

which will be wired straight into reverse circuit, fused of course- only 7 watt.
We use on the 13 tonne forklifts at work for auxillary lighting - not cheap, but tough and foolproof
