Aux location?

Aux location?

Postby hatlesschimp on Wed Nov 01, 2017 5:04 am

Hi lads,

Just trying to find the Aux location in my work triton.

I have a usb in the glove box but doesnt do anything when I connect my phone to it.

Bluetooth wont pair with my lg v20 android phone or my work mates iphone 6+.

The double din head unit has USB, Bluetooth & Aux in its menu but all option are not working for us. We are out in remote locations and would love some music. Only so much BS we can talk to each other lol. Please help me! I will take some photos. I cant work out the model number but it must be 2011 or later. Its a manual, single cab. Ive checked the glove box and cant see anything and also checked the centre armrest and cant see anything there either. In my 2010 lancer there are 2 rca low on the centre console dash pocket.

Thanks lads!

Have you tried just plugging a USB stick with MP3 content in the socket you found?

Most cases if music files are detected the unit should start playing.

Have you tried clearing the paired devices from Bluetooth and re pairing? On mine (2013 mn) it is a different process to pair for phone and music.

What about in the center console? My mn has an output which I think was aux but I needed an adapter lead which went from the 2 female plugs in the console to a 3.5mm plug.
