Speed Sense Wire

Hello,

I am trying to find the speed sense wire in a new triton Dual Cab.

If anyone can tell me the colour code and location it would be much apprichated

There's at least one member here who fits cruise, try searching for cruise control and PM the responsible...

It is a White with blue stripe at the rear of instrument cluster in the small cantre plug .It has a pulse rate of 2364ppm.

is there another place to find this wire that does not require pulling the whole dash apart?

I got one of THESE kits from jaycar and soldered it up this afternoon.

Wasnt too hard. just fiddly, but by the end my hands were shaking more than Micheal J Fox after a caffine binge

Now all i gotta do is connect it up.

Petrol or Did?

I have some info for the ECU pinout including the speed sensor wire for the 'DiD' if that helps at the ECU (Just need to pull the glove box out by comparison...?

DID mate. any info would be great.

From reading the manual the unit came with i dont think it matters where you tap into the speed sense wire.

I just looking to avoid pulling the dash apart if i can.

I took Julians advice and found the wire behind the instument panel. it was actually quite easy to pull apart.
