As Naff said, but the other thing to remember is that Mitsubishi almost universally, uses black for earth.

Reverse lights

Postby godzilla_rising on Sun Apr 03, 2016 11:17 am

Hey Gurus!!!

So 4WD Super Centre had a bit of a sale recently and so I picked up a pair of 6" LED lightbars for $29 each.

My initial idea for these two (another 4 will eventually go on a roof rack) was to be reversing lights. However the more and more that I look at it I'm wondering if this would be a good idea.

This is how I was looking at mounting them...

However I'm concerned that they are just to big, heavy, and not really suited for the area. The light would be AMAZING though.

Should I persevere with these, or get those Cree ones from eBay above and just shelve these until I mount them on my roof racks?

Cheers!!

shelve them.
As you say, they are very large and heavy.

Thought about that, but the height of them would impact the tailgate when it's dropped down.

I just went and ordered the flush mount ones so that should do the job quite nicely.

Yep, well there is that too...

I did think about that, but that will eventually happen with the others...but it will just be a different setup.

Hey guys, does anyone happen to have a reciprocating saw that I might be able to use...somewhere around the Ipswich area?
