Postby sloppyjoe24 on Mon Aug 03, 2009 10:35 am

I was talking to my local sparky who has installed alot of HID conversion kits into alcoa vehicles and said that the ballasts cause interference with the radios... has anyone had this problem? i've just bought a HID kit n this might sway my mind as to wether i fit it or not...

i fitted mine last week with no issues except for being too bright and being flashed by every 5th car coming towards me.

No problems with mine and haven't heard it mentioned on here with others.

I was going to make a smart arse comment about Boosted's unique system of using his suspension to dip his lights but figured it was in poor taste and thought better of it. ;)

I get a bit of a windup noise coming through the radio when the HID's are warming up, just an earth problem somewhere that I can't seem to pinpoint. It goes away after 2 or 3 seconds
