A lot of the time Can issues are from moisture in connections, if you look at the diagram there are 2 terminal resistors as a general rule these are 120 ohms each in parallel they make 60 ohms if you measure the resistance across Can hi and Can lo
Disconnect one ECM and the resistance should go from 60ohms to 120 ohms
,
from Can Hi to ground is around 2.5 v and the same from Can lo to Ground.
if you look at the diagram you can see there is a resistor both in the dash and the ECM. the first place i would look would be engine ecm, voltage checks on the Battery and ign feeds and also check earths back to the battery Negative terminal
