I run the Waeco RAPS socket from the second battery along the chassis then up the front of the tub and under the canopy and it hangs in the back
Or as Speedy Gonzalez once said, it won't hurt, did it

No holes necessary, take out a rear tail light, in my case left. On the body at the very top of where the light came out you will feel a small hole that finds it way straight into the tub. You can then simply follow the lighting harness out the bottom of the rear fender and along the chassis rail up to the engine bay.

Buzzy

Use the same hole as ARB (this is what they did on mine) used to get power to your rear brake light and interior light for the canopy.
Its the same as jueylea said it comes from behind the rear tailight setup.

fireball you will need to pull the liner away from the guard. You have to lift the liner up in the centre of the tub to get the side to drop so you can get it to pull out from under the lip.
Once you have done this you should have no problem finding the hole/ entry point.
I'll see what I can do about a pic tomorrow.

thx for that... got my dual battery setup done at arb/tjm place and even tho i told them to go thru that area they couldnt feed a line in.. then they said oh it would be easy to take the liner out to find that hole but that would cost me 6hrs labour ( i'm thinking bullsh*t)

did u have to wire a inline fuse with the 12v socket ?
at the back of a 12v socket (this may sound dumb) but which is positive and which is negative ?? lol so i know where to hook the wires up to

I put mine in though out the week. I went though the chassis rail up to the battery (it will go on the 2nd battery when I get all the parts) and up under the tub in between the tub and guard and used a flashed mounted 12v outlet I will get photo's on today or tomorrow so you can have a look. Also I used 4mm cable for it you should not need to go much bigger then that
We run in while everyone is running out

Fireball

Yes you should always put in an inline fuse, but have it some where it is easily accesible.
The tip of the Cigarrette socket is Positive and the outside is Earth/Negative.
You do not need much more than 5-10amp fuse as if you a sucking more power than this through a cigarrette lighter socket you will more likely melt the socket.
If you are planning on fitting more accessories than buy a multiple blade fuse holder with the clear cover and mount under bonnet. run a direct feed from the possitive battery terminal to the fuse holder use one of the fuse spots and continue wire to back of tray or to what ever accessory you wnt to power makes it neat and easy to access.

Cant get profile to work with pictures but I can tell you my light in the canopy is hooked up to the socket as well you can run the wires in thru the second skin in the tray in between the outsideb panels and the ute tray have a look up under the front of the back wheel tub and you can see what I mean
