Ive already got a set of 35 HID driving lights... just wondering if this led bar would be good? I was one for going bush/ hunting and fishing... when the HID's are no good to me?

The second thing is just the same as the use of fog lights. Too much light close in makes you blind to the distance.

Give some thought to colour. CRI (Colour Rendering Index) is a measure of how natural a light source renders the colour of an object

Probably not such an issue with a 17" bar but definitely a big problem with a 42" bar, or two of them. Unless you set it well back, a lightbar on the roof will just light up your bonnet and you won't see much past your bullbar. Lightbars across the top of the windscreen would be even worse.
