jmos: Thanks for the tip. Both USB cables now run to the glovebox.

What a nightmare it's been installing this unit. Let me say right not though, it has nothing to do with the DigOptions unit!!! I had to dismantle half of my dash to find the damned connector that the unit plugs into. It was held in behind everything else with more cable ties than you could imagine, then covered with some foam crap.... Ugh!

Anyway, it's in now. Just need to modify the fascia and hook up the reversing camera. But that's a job for Monday.

Mine was the same! It made me mad as hell that the first plug was wrong and had to dig into the dash further, Matt from dig options needs to address this as it would have mad the fit up half as hard!

If he had a connector that plugs straight into the top connector, it would have been finished hours ago. :)

My "Street Navigation" works fine, but when I hit "Off Road Navigation" it complains that it can't find the executable file. Is there something I need to do to get it to work?

A couple of questions for those who've installed....

1) Is there a way to get the songs on a USB stick to play in random order?
2) What type of connectors have people used to cut into the reversing lights?

I couldn't find any way to play them randomly on the USB I found the interface to slow withe the USB and SD cards so I don't us them for music, I have a 64 gig phone and have a lot of songs on it which I play through the Bluetooth interface on the unit where you can skip songs pause stop and you can set random play on your phone.

I used the reversing light wire at the rear to power the camera and I'm not sure it's been awhile but I think I did something with the lose red wire at the dash.

Did you use one of these to tap into your reverse light wiring?

I know what you're saying.... Normally, I'd prefer to solder it, but solder has a habit of breaking on wiring that bounces around.

There's a reverse wiring tapping point behind the passenger kick panel - you might be able to manage something a bit neater there and it won't be as subject to movement as the wires behind the lights.

On your SD card find Desktop\Skin\Main.ini

Make sure that the entry for offroad navigation points to the correct executable file. For example, if you're using OziCE in the offroad section you'd have a line that reads:
Command = \StorageCard\OziExplorer\OziExplorerCE.exe

See my post way further back in this thread for the full details of how this file should be set up.

If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay us to do it?

Saw that, but wasn't sure if it still applied. I think the mistake I made was assuming that the unit came with OziExplorer. But I guess I need to buy a copy. :)

I didn't have that loom when I installed mine but Matt was going to include a loom for the steering wheel controls so I'm guessing that's what it is. I have a GLX so wouldn't need it anyways.
Hope this helps.

Sorry just had a look in my box of left overs from my install and that loom is in the box so yes I did have it but didn't install it, again think its for the controls on the wheel.

I ordered the radio booster. Anyone know if there's somewhere to plug the "blue wire" in, in a GLX?

hi,
i was looking at upgrading to a dvd/gps 2 din system,eg dig options. I noticed when i picked up my new Triton, that the new Challenger now has this;

I suppose the hood cover would fit on the Triton also, this would keep the trip computer and should fit std 2 din units....?

cheers, Rod :?:

Great find if it fits. It's not the most attractive thing in the world but I'd do it if I had the info display.

Hi folks,
Ref the trip computer removal & refitting, I am aware that there is a genuine part to fit the trip computer back in to where the radio has been removed, not sure of the part no but i know it is in the genuine accessories list of the UK sales info of their L200 model, that is the way i was thinking of going when i eventually get round to it.

I have just installed a new Double DIN unit in the Pajero and it came standard with games.

If there is an update a link might help those who need it...
