Mn Glxr stalk for Glr foggies

Postby carpo001 on Fri Jun 03, 2011 9:28 am

Looking at doing this conversion, have had a look under the car and there are some green plugs there which appear to be the plugs for the fog light loom. Just wondering what price you have paid for the stalk so I don't get stitched up by the wreckers.
Thanks

Good luck getting them from the wreckers...I couldn't even get an ML one when i did this mod on mine.
had to go to Mitsu for about $80 i think.

There is an ML thread here somewhere to get an idea, should be close to an MN???

$80  I reakon thats cheap for a new one. I believe it was Choady who did this originally and payed near that for a second hand one
I used the existing wiring, fuse, and relay in mine but had to cut into the wiring loom to fit the switch in the dash. Got the fuse and relay from a wrecker. Just take your headlight relay in to the wreckers and ask for a spare. Nearly all mitsubishi's are the same. Mitsubishi $22+ GST, wrecker $5 incl. Dash switchs i used are from a BA falcon that fits the curve of the dash as in Nowfor the fifths dash

Check Ebay, same as this but with two light symbols

The ford fog switches look really good!
I'm guessing that you'd have to find a second switch with the light emblem on it and swap it for the T/C as all the fords have T/C above the fog switch.
Are they momentary switches on the ford, or on and off?

If you wait they bring up panels with two light emblems on them. I purchased one of those for my fog and spot lights. The switches are positional so the top has to stayo on the top, you cant swap top to bottom. They are on/off switches and are indented in the on position. The do have monentary switches, fuel flap
