Lads,
Just wondering if anyone has had their clutch converted from dual mass to solid mass?
My 2010 triton is due for new throwout bearings and the likes, so I might as well do the clutch whilst I'm in there.
I've been told that a dual mass to solid mass conversion is far cheaper than the actual replacement clutch that has dual mass capabilities. On the down side, transmission noise and idle at low revs is supposed to increase quite a bit due to not having the internal dampening of the dual mass springs.
Just wondering if anyone has done this and what their results have been like?
Cheers guys!
