Just had mine fitted yesterday, (245/70/R17 BFG AT KM2's)

Road noise is there, but much less than i expected, handling in the wet on the black stuff is still quite good, although not as good as the factories,

I simply cannot get my beast bogged, i have tried every wet spot on our properties, some of which i have managed to bog a 4wd tractor in & it still lugged its way through.

Speedo is now telling me 100km/hour @ 100 on GPS, Revs have dropped back to 2.2rpm at 100, fuel usage has gone up .5 l /100 however.

so who else here is running 265/70/17? and show us you pics. Interested to hear how they are going especially if you are running them as everyday tyres. I am looking at this size in a MTZ to run everyday, but dont want my car to drive like crap and look like cop bait.

I have 42,000kms on my truck now and have run this size from the day it left the showroom.

Did around 20,000km on MTZ and then swapped to Goodyear kevlar MTR's

Do a fair bit of travel - including towing a 2 tonne van, its my wifes daily driver and never had a look from cops or anything- Mitsubishi hav'nt said anything either.

Coopers Zeon LTZ 265/70/17

We use this truck every day. My missus drives it over 50kms a day to work, We go to Sydney about 20 times a year and I use it as a work vehicle at times here on the farm. A great all round tyre that's safe on the wet black top. Only thing I have noticed is the heavier construction(10 ply rating) can cause some bump steer as the stock shocks are not tuned for the extra unsprung weight at over 120 kmh on rougher roads

Unfortunately only available at limited outlets in NSW mate.

BTW your local tyre dealer rang me two days ago to ask how I went getting some (I called him when I couldn't find them). Pretty good bloke to do that I thought.

Told him no go - he sounded as frustrated as me. I could have bought the other set sitting in his storage if Coopers would have let him....
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

He's a real nice bloke and genuine as. Has a great reputation around here and will always help people out. Even the broke young fellas that cant afford new tyres. He somehow keeps them safe.
I'm not surprised he followed your request up actually. :)
I could purchase them and then some how they ended up on your truck  Never heard of a tyre company being concerned about their own tyre being a threat to another design. Although I can under stand once people experience this awesome tyre they'd never touch the other H/Ts or A/Ts made by cooper  The dealers would be caught with them.
For comparison they are better in a lot of ways to the MTZ's I have here on another vehicle.

Yep he is one bloke who will always be in business :D

Jeez I never thought to ask you :x

I tried every bloody thing else.

Ended up with D694's which are going fine - really wanted the LTZ's though - and I know what you mean about some other Coopers AT's.
