Need something to get you rolling?

265/75/R16 or 255/85/R16?

Hey!

Just wondering if anyone here has fitted 255/85/R16s on there Triton with no rubbing/ steering issues?

I was going to go 265/75/R16s but I would like to gain as much ground clearance as possible.

Only have a 2" spacer lift.

BTW my Triton was on the your 4X4 photo comp this week :D

Cheers,
Shane

Wow 255/85 16 that`s the size I want next!
Currently I`m running 235/85 16, but I believe the 2 extra inches of a 255/85 can fullfill my L200, with no lift but I have my dudes, 235/85 run very well a bit short in first gear and starting move, never as quick as 205/80, but 235/85 gains 10% more speed cruising, wish I had set the 255/85 just to give a try.
Please post a picutre if you decide to set them. Enjoy the ride!

235/85/16 are 32" 255/85/16 are 33", so there is only 1" extra.

not a bad option for as tyre size- just very limited in tyre choice.

yeah only 1/2" on the radius, not much gain in ground clearance...

I'm running 245/75/16 (about 30") so will make a huge difference to my ride.

Wouldn't put them on with out at least a 2" lift though, asking for trouble I reckon...
