got back from a full weekend of wheeling.

good news is they still have not touched anywhere, and they were put through the articulation test at LCMP and Glasshouse.

the grip from these tyres is awesome (offroad) onroad manners leaves a bit to be desired

wearing very well- as the grip means little to no wheel slip- means little tread loss and certainly no chunks taken out of the tread blocks. :ugeek: :ugeek:

Fraz I'm running the 305's on mine with a pos25mm offset, had to remove inside back guard as it rubbed when I was offroad.
Just booked the ute in today after playing around with offsets and guards I fitted in the Mtz 35x13.5 tyre, they are getting put on in two weeks. The offset was 0 and all my guards have been removed and a little bending of some metal at the back of the front wheel arch. This combo is fine at full flex and full lock but my wheels stick way out past my flares which is way I have some 6" wide flares on there way...anyways mate some 305's will fit no worries but you need an offset between 0-25 IMO

If they don't just get rid of the plastic guards and you'll have plenty of room

Im not being much help but one way to find out ;) haha. I tried some 34" Simexs on mine with no issues but decided with 33s just much easier to get and cheaper

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, does anyone know the Overall diameter of 33/12.5/15's?
I know we can't fit 15 inch rims on our Tritons cos the disc brakes are too big, just curious is all

Depends on the manufacturer. Simex 33" are nearly 34" in diameter, whilst others are only just over 32"

so that is around 830mm (for 33") or 850mm for 34"

that seems to be the common guide- I have 850mm simex peedes on 15 offset rims and no metal needed to be touched- mind you they are narrow

the amounts required for guard trimming depends on the offset of the rims and width of the tyres chosen.
