Turbo swap

Postby Mitstech2936 on Wed Sep 26, 2012 8:50 pm

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm under the impression that the pajero 4M41 3.2L has a different turbo setup to what the triton is using....
I feel as though from driving them regularly that they produce more torque....
Has anybody heard of or done a turbo/waste and dump pipe swap from a pajero to a triton???

Geek did a turbo and dump upgrade but I don't think he used the ones off a paj. Would be interesting to see though...

The Pajero runs a variable geometry turbo and bigger injectors. It could be done for sure. 8-) I lot say it cant due to the ECU but not true. I wont go into detail here.

Geek upgraded the compressor side on his turbo. Its still a linear waste gate type but works well with some tuning. 8-)

Bit in the platinum area on his set up.

And if u put the bigger injectors in i would think that you could just put in ur number code into triton ecu off the bigger pajy injectors and they should work correctly shouldnt they?
