90000km service on the V6

Postby slimv6 on Tue Mar 31, 2009 8:49 pm

Hey guys!

Anyone done a 90000 service yet? I got mine booked in and it's like supposed to be a cool USD800 fo the job at the stealer.

My sad part is that the dealers in and around johannesburg haven't done one yet.

should I plague them for a discount?

I had my 135k service today - ($542 from my local dealer) - so I think my ML will be one of the higher milage vehicles around . No major issues with it
Only real gripe has been tyres - after ( another ) Cooper ATR blow-out , I bought some Dunlop Grandtrek AT3
tyres last year . AVOID these like the plague . I've done 24k on them & they are worn to the wear indicators , & when newer they squirmed & tramlined like nobody's business - regardless of inflation pressure . Looks like it's back to BFGs.............
So much to do - so little time ,.... oh bugger it - I'm going fishing

I've done a massive 35k on my 2007 ML, that probably puts me at the back of the pack!
