Yeh I am after a free electronic one. May have to wait a while until these start poping up on the net. Have only seen the ml manual in the posts on this site.

Russians have the MMCS manual, but not the MN manual. When I searched a while back free was not to be found. I bought one in the end. It has some form of copy protection though :(

This is great news!!

I believe Mitsu supply a multilingual cd/dvd to dealers soooo....

If you get him to image the disk(s) using software like poweriso (free does everything so dont pay)
I can supply a FTP site for him to upload (or use yousendit).

much faster than posting useless bits of plastic.... :ugeek:

PM me and I sort you out in the interest of members 8-)

great news,if it is multilingual that is ..... i kind of doubt it, but we will see.
i ll pm u as soon as i get it, the idea to get my uncle to post anything via the net is like gettin a fish to walk...
last time i met him i was a little boy, and he was old back then......actually i am surprised that he has got it in digital form and not as a printed edition
would actually be awesome if it was in german AND english, so i could use it as a dictionary .... :D

so , waiting for mail :ugeek:

ok, to make things a bit more easy my uncle decided to send the disc to my mother....where it arrived today....
for some reason she is gonna take a copy of it (maybe just in case the letter gets lost?!) and hopefully posts it tomorrow. then its usually 5-10 days until its finally in australia.
couldn't be easier, could it??
so lets hope its got an english version on it otherwise the google translator is gonna get a massive workout by tio......

Yeah, but the only time I'll ever use a workshop manual is if it breaks down 1000kms from the nearest human being and it's fix it myself or die. And in that situation, I can't see Google being available ;)

Best way to share would be to upload at Megaupload then anyone can pull it down. I use it regularly and works a treat.

Try browsing to the folder called ENV. Once in there look for a file called STARTCDSMV.htm. Double-click it. It's not perfect but it works for me. Only shows you one side of the manual and doesn't let you do searches and stuff but it covers most of it well.

If you get a warning about your browser just ignore it and press on, it still works in the latest version of explorer.

If you copy everything off the MN manual to a root drive (create a new one for this purpose I reckon) and then copy the STARTCDSMV/htm file to somewhere easy on the same drive and give it a name like openeverything.htm so you can remember which file to use, it should work without needing the disk in the drive. At least it did for me, although mine is english and not german... :ugeek:

I rang the SA state library yesterday and asked after, copying their disc set.
"Not without written permission from MMA" was my answer :(

Well that was always going to happen wasn't it? MMAL do sell them if you can talk your parts guy into ordering it but it is typically only issued to dealer workshops. My guy was very curious about where I found the part number but once the computer let him order it he was content to do it. Pricey though >$220 from memory.

Dave,

How did you find the MM part number for the MN Triton Service Manual? I have a Challenger PB and am interested in buying a service manual. When I bought the car I was told 'more than $1000' so I thought I would try other ways. $220 seems reasonable.
