The existing copy protection has proved unusually robust. No doubt a world class hacker could break it if we could find one not working for Murdoch ( I should say allegedly there somewhere). Let's keep that stuff off forum though shall we? We don't encourage software piracy around here.

Dave's right. The ebay cheapies are rubbish - hardly worth the $10 ask.

Purely for backup purposes only, I'd hate to spend $200+ on software to find one day I can't read the disc for mistaking it as a coaster.

Precisely. I am now in that boat as none of my attempts at backing up worked and the original disc does not always read reliably. I do have one old XP laptop that it seems to have installed on properly that will run it slowly without the disc but that's not a very good substitute for a working disc and a reliable backup for the future.

Burnah is correct. I may have tried a few more as well. I fear the day when my disc gets scratched and won't run any more. I have only an old xp laptop that can run it properly and now have to keep the laptop just in case the disc goes south.

This appears to work and has multiple years. Is for the L200 so there may be some variations on our models.

They have them for other mitsubishi models too.

I had a couple of false starts on account of not speaking/reading Russian but got there in the end.

One cool thing is that it also works on the iPad so you can run it in the garage when you get stuck.

Here's the direct link to the .PDF version of the workshop manual / service manual for the MN triton. It's specific for 2012 however the differences between models is VERY minimal. Also there might be slight differences as this is for the Left Hand Drive version of our trucks.

I suggest opening the document through Mozilla Firefox, it lagged quite a bit for me using Internet Explorer. The document is around 236MB and if you have an older PC you might struggle to open and view it. I'm yet to try it on an ipad but I guess it would work.
The websites server is pretty slow as its hosted in Russia, using Mozilla Firefox to open you'll get a loading progress bar.
If you'd like to save the document you can do so through Adobe PDF Viewer, top left hand corner there's a floppy disk icon, hit that and save.

NO NOT try to print the entire document, it's 3818 pages!! You can select to print individual pages as necessary.

^^highlight and copy the whole link, the forum layout doesn't allow it to display in full.

And now a 2015 manual in ISO form

Hope you have broadband - this is a link to an actual ISO file which will reproduce the manual disc. It's 800 odd Mb from memory.

Note that some slight differences may exist between euro models and AU models so care is required at times.
