Best dealer service I have ever received!!!!

Postby reeldreamer on Thu Feb 24, 2011 2:36 pm

I currently have my car in getting the 90k service done also I am getting a new HD clutch installed and various other warranty concerns addressed. The service manager is by far the best person I have ever dealt with in the automotive servicing industry. I raised all my issues which other dealers have fobbed me off he has sorted all of them. I have received roughly 4-5 emails with updates which I love. The price is great, organised a loan car for me at short notice (Car was required for 3 days).

He even emailed me with a report on the manifolds and the effectiveness of the catch can and blocked EGR. For the record 20,000k since replacement and the manifolds look new! Also the valve clearances were all too tight and where reset correctly!

Dealer is located in Brisbane nearby a very famous old pub which recently flooded! Honestly I could not speak any better of this service department!

Wouldn't help Aiden they have a monopoly same as all dealers in Darwin, sorry to say but they will never improve customer service because they don't have to....

You won't regret it fridgie! Lee is great and extremely helpful I gave him a list of things to do as long as your arm and nothing was to much trouble! The way service should be! Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow it will be a new car! New steering column, clutch, power steering drop out sorted, gear knob and steering wheel!!

It is great to hear so many good reports about a service department in Brisbane. I will defienately be giving them a go for my next service. Did they say what Oil they use? After reading the Oils aint oils thread I am thinking the standard castrol stuff that most dealers use is not really up to it?

No I don't know what oil they are using I'm sure you could supply your own! In the end I won't own the car long enough to see what happens with using lesser quality oils! But you will be stoked with eagers!

Sounds like Pickering's Townsville could learn a thing or two from Newstead Mitsubishi. You know, basic stuff like customer service and quality workmanship.

Picked my car up friday arvo and holy shit it is a different ute!!! I had the steering wheel and gear knob replaced, new HD clutch & 90k service! She is running like a dream. It is going back in this week to get the steering column, power steering pump and tail gate dust seals done under warranty! The fuel economy has improved 2L/100km and is much more responsive! Big thanks to Lee @ Eagers he really exceeded my expectations on dealer service!

Took mine in today to get the manifold done, oil replaced, fumoto finally fitted and a few things checked out.

What a great feeling......I knew it was the right move when I went to pick it up and my bashplate was almost straight again!!

Manifold was done under warranty, oil changed, brake fluid, clutch doesnt seem to squeek anymore, bashplate mount welded back on, bolt removed after i broke the head off it and tapped and replaced, new front brake pads (will fit myself), bonnet protector, and a few other things done like handbrake properly adjusted etc.
Then he gives me the price.....couldnt hand the card over quick enough as I felt I was robbing him    No way would others have been that kind to me ;)

Was great to be greeted as soon as I pulled up, had a quick chat about what I wanted done, what any issues were, Lee is a top bloke...felt right at home there and knew would be looked after. My new service department has been found and anyone looking for a quality service should definately give them a yell

Best dealer service I have ever received!!!!

Postby Diablo on Wed Apr 06, 2011 10:19 am

Can already see why they are getting a great rap. Apparently my upper manifold has already been done and I was not told about it by the guys that have serviced it before. So new suction control valve is going on instead. But more of a concern is it looks like my valve clearances have not been done previously when they should have.

Well I must say Eagers Newstead have absolutly lived up to the hype. Really happy i decided to try a real dealer service centre. Not only were they cheeper than the dealer service i had been using, I drove away feeling confident that everything they said they would do, they did. So next week i will have the wifes car in :D

I now have a new steering column and SVC, and the whole car feels tighter and much more like it should. The dealer i had been taking the car to definatly did not check the valves when they should of at the 60k.

The service manager there looked after me and was exceptional, but i would not expect anything else from a fellow triton owner
