Capalaba Servicing ??

I am about to get the 15000 service done at Capalaba next week.
Anybody have experience with them?

I got my triton serviced there for 60,000kms
nice people listen to your concerns- but IMHO don't take it to the next level- its a tick and flick
in and out as quick as posible- also doubt they do the tappets (price says they don't).

They did fix waranty problems I was having with the SCV (I was one of the first to experience limp modes etc) and they were keen to blame it on electrical accessories etc, but came good in the end.

last straw for me though was getting my vehicle back from the 60,000km service telling them I was about to go on a 15,000kms trip accross to WA towing the van (i.e check everything) and I open the airbox in the carpark only to see dead butterflies and dust in the airbox- it hadn't been opened.
inside witht he filter and a few choice words.....BUT left me feeling worried about the rest of the service- oils diffs etc what else wasn't done......

Since then changed to Eagers newstead- (do a search- and mention newtriton) they look after me with a courtesy vehicle (I'm in Thornlands and work on North Straddie) so far from convenient but the service of the 2 services I have had from them since has been a whole lot better.

Mate .. I didn't check CD's link above... But just spend the cab fare and take it over to Eagers at Newstead...

Lee is the service manager ... he's a member on here and a good bloke - as is his team. Cant go wrong....

Yeah there usually is in the servicing threads. Mine went okay though. It's not a big service in the scheme of things. Look for a thread about the best dealer service ever and you'll find a bunch of posts that add up to what quinny said above.
