My long awaited tough dogs suspensions has finally arrived in P.I. Looking forward to installing the new leaf suspensions on Friday!! Leaving Perth on Wednesday and I won't be getting home until Thursday, so Friday is the D-Day!!!
As for the front springs, slotted brake disc rotors and front brake pads, I will get the Mitsubishi Service Centre to install them!!
Will keep you guys posted with some pictures...

ive got the larger bore shocks medium springs

im really happy with them handles alot better going around tight corners is abit bumpier, non of that lean to the outside front wheel on roundabouts like with the stock suspension.

Have installed the leaf springs with urethane bushes as scheculed last Friday. What a great diffrerence they made compare to old stocks!! It gave the vehicle an extra 60 mm height. So far I am very happy with the set up!! Having the coils, slotted disc rotor, new shoes and pads intalled today. Will post pics soon!!!

To be honest Mudlark I'm speechless. That is an incredibly dangerous way to install a suspension kit. Personally I believe the rear may be sitting up too high with the extended shackles. The leaf spring itself looks very stiff an uncomfortable. The extended shackles appear to be pushing the spring down onto the second stage (which would make it stiff all the time) and I'm surprised the leaf spring itself is not progressive. In most cases the third and fourth leaves would be different lengths to provide more comfort.

Not enough tie wire you reckon mate? ;)

I have to agree with ultimate on this as those rear springs are just way too heavy especially if the vehicle wont be carrying much weight.
Would love to know how much articulation/wheel travel it has as I reckon it wouldn't be much and most likely quite a bit less than the stock setup.

Interesting install though :? :?

Just picked up the Triton from local Mitsi service centre and drove about 12 k's to home, found the set up to be very good :D NOT at all stiff as Ultimate mentioned. Though it was only a short drive home, the roads here are unlike in Oz!!
The pic in front of home of the whole vehicle, looks like the front is much lower than the rear, this is because the front springs were NOT installed yet!!
The reason they tied the springs with the tie wires is that, their compression tools would NOT bugded the TD springs down, hence the tie wires!! :D
Will test drive vehicle this weekend and will post results!!!

G'Day 4wd26,
I don't know what you mean by "not the front spacers are in"?
The tyres are Cooper Discoverer STT 265 70R 17 on the factory rims. So far, it's a great combinatons with the TD shocks & suspensions!!! I am more than :D :D :D with the set up....
Check my profile, all details are there!!

Cheers...

Plenty of clearance there now Mud Lark! :) The graphics are alright but not my thing! Would of taken some time to have that done, Is the rear flare/guard staying off or is that just because of the graphics work being done? You could get some bigger tyres on there now that's for sure!!
