I think that the deal is done, The site has been invited to showcase the launch.
I am pretty sure that they will not be changing anything about the vehicle now.
Remember to take note of the condition of the fishing gutters

Good luck with the little holiday - They would not want you to take over your tricked up truck might not look good with the new model bogged to the side steps with you idling past it 8-)

The more I read the more confidence I have that 4wd26 is our man for the job, and building a long term future relationship with MMMA. Good luck with your trip and really looking forward to reading your long, long report and comments perhaps photos in due course

Great opportunity!
A lot of the questions already asked have been brought up in the News section (new auto, possibly ex-pajero, same suspension, brakes, wheelbase, chassis, lower low range but longer gearing in high, carry over diffs for auto, 3.6 for manuals etc), so i'm keen to see the model/specs for au vehicles compared to the Thai info I currently have.

Not so much a question, more a plea: can we get the 3.9 diffs in the manuals? lol

Look forward to hearing more on this as it unfolds, especially engine drivability. Would be great to get a dyno graph to overlay against the mn (or ML) diesals.

sS

edit: also manual has dual mass flywheel, HSA on higher specs, looks like no superselect and unknown for diff lock (not listed on Thai models), keyless start, rear camera in upspec cars (with upspec audio units)

An idea of how low the tow bar will be on this model would be handy. Also if there are any components that are shared with other existing models (eg engine already in use in x car) where there's already some knowledge around common faults and upgrades that we can pick up straight away.

4N15 has a timing chain. Will still require valve adjustments at certain intervals.

While test driving, has the turbo lag problem been fix?
And my second would be as it is being launched in a salty environment, will rust proofing be a factory supplied option.

lts been said that utes cost more to insure. Ford have said they are addressing this by adding safety features like blind spot indicator, collision avoidance , auto dimming rear vision mirror, heated external mirrors ,stiffer body and tuned suspension for better handling etc. Will Mitz be doing similar?

Electronic rust proofing is an optional extra.
It was for me anyway.
