Hey Snoozy, it's interesting that your build pics show this battery which has recessed and covered acess to the cells:
Yet the link to the pdf supplied has a picture of same model battery with protruding cell maintenance plugs:
Looking at the product ID's they are different and given the Century site only shows the recessed type like in your build pics it looks like the one with protruding plugs is an older model. I recon the older type is better case design because the new ones look like a bitch for maintenance, got to release the battery holder and in your case (and probably plenty of others) either remove the postive lead or loosen and pull around. It's interesting that at the bottom of the Century page they have a link to an alternative Yuasa battery that looks identical to their older model
Has anyone used the Yuasa batteries? Is a Century manufactured by Yuasa anyway? I'm in the market for a new battery, cold weather's got mine cranking slow
I'd prefer the easier access of this type of case.
'Edit' : searching around it seems Yuasa and Century are same batteries, but i'm still confused why many different sites have different pics of each type of battery, will probably need to call a seller. I note with interest the specs are identical for the Century recessed plugs unit and the Yuasa protruding plugs unit.
