Bit of an update of the last few weeks..

As i pointed out in another thread the other day i had to get my balance shaft belt replaced which included the timing belt, i was told i could do it between 100000 and 105000 and well it went at 103000.. it was towed to Mitsubishi Morayfield and suprisingly they wernt to bad. i was a bit worried about taking somewhere else after the lee treatment. Only ended up costing $520.00 which i was quite happy about..

Bigbird and myself fitted up the ac fan the other day, works a treat.. cools the car down faster and the temp coming from the vents is about 2 degrees cooler.. noticed also, since then that driving temps have dropped by around 1-2 degrees aswell due to that extra fan blowing through some nice air..

have to start cleaning up some wiring soon as well as adding a new uhf which i have had for a while.. but just to busy to fit.. got it out of a mining triton.. its a 5-25 watt uhf with programmed extra channels for qgc and a few scanning channels.

Considering a hid replacement for them and change the headlights, whiter light than whats there now would be nice..

Just a heads up on the rod-ezi Lunny.

I lent my mate my Triton to go to Fraser last week. He brought it back on Sunday and I went to the servo before I took the rod holder off because it was raining.

Cops grabbed me

Told me that in no form was the rod ezi legal. Even with rods in it, like most others are. Could only be his opinion, but he was pretty adamant about it

And they stand out like the proverbial dogs balls so not hard for plod to spot....
I hate to advocate drugs, sex, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

had a feeling they might be.. but will see how it goes, i think a ladder rack on the front is worse then what these are.. only have it on there with rods on...

thanks for the heads up though....

I thought they'd seen me have a little drift practice around the roundabout  but it was just the rod holders.

They are super thin wall aluminium and plastic so look much worse than they are for pedestrian safety. I'd go as far as to say they'd almost certainly cause no damage to anyone.

Especially compared to my bullbar

I will take it on pro bono, the only person it could hurt would be alex unless you are 37 feet tall it would go over your head.
Tell them it is a radar detector mount & it helps when you are doing the meth run across the border........
